Cogeneration: Represents a symbiosis of multiple processes with machines called "total energy". These simultaneously produce electrical (or mechanical) and thermal energy from a single source of primary energy. In this way, the percentage used of the potential energy contained in the fuels is increased together with the fraction at the highest energy content is converted into energy fine (mechanical or electrical), while the fraction of lower energy content, which in common heat engines gets dispersed in the environment, is recovered and made available for applications, such as heating, appropriate to its lower temperature.
From the Heat we can have: 90°C Hot Water; or 190°C Diathermic Oil; or Steam 3-8 bar.
